Communion: A Sunday Brunch Experience

Welcome to Communion at North Node Sanctuary! 

 

Celebrating the joy of togetherness, over a spread of soul nourishing dishes. While a fusion of nostalgic Gospel melodies and R&B classics set the ambiance. This experience is being curated by Chanise Condren aka Barefoot Black Girl (formerly Electric Kitchen) and Amirah Malika of Eats by Ancestral Alchemy with music by DJ Traened.

Seating is family style.

Food is self served.

Love is overflowing.

Ticket includes:

One Entree (The Sunday Special) + All You Can Eat Stations + Two Specialty Drinks (fresh pressed, juice, tea, mimosa, etc…)

Communion Menu:

Sunday Special: 

• Gospel Bird (Crispy Fried Chicken/Oyster Mushroom), 
• Glory-Us Greens (Not from the can, don't worry!)
•  Miraculous Waymaker Mac & Cheese
• WHDI (Won't He Do It?!) Watermelon & Mint Salad 

Buffet Stations:

• Breakfast/Brunch Favs: Sausage, Bacon, Breakfast Potatoes
• Egg Station (We don't make them until you order them!)
• Fresh Fruit + Build Your Own Parfait 
• Breads + Pastries
• **Vegan and Vegetarian Options available!

Beverages:  

• Fresh Pressed Juices
• Mimosas (**ID Required)
• Herbal Teas + Coffee
• Water

Here are some important details about this experience. Please read through them before you purchase your ticket.

• This experience is limited to ages 18+
• The menu is curated of farm-fresh, predominantly organic foods crafted from consciously sourced, mindful ingredients.
• Vegan and Vegetarian accommodations are available. You will have the opportunity to list that and any other dietary/allergen needs in the event registration form.
• This brunch package includes one entree and multiple all-you-can-eat brunch stations.
• Several stations at this brunch are all-you-can-eat, but we ask that you only indulge in what you can eat to minimize food waste. (Any leftovers from this brunch will be offered to the neighboring transient community.)
• The “Sunday Special” will be served separately, one plate per person.
• Our bottomless brunch package also includes your choice of two specialty drinks (fresh pressed, juice, tea, mimosa etc…). We will have options available for refills, and a menu with additional beverages for purchase.
• Alcoholic drinks will only be served to those over the age of 21 and with a valid ID.
• Brunch is served every 2nd Sunday from 12 pm to 4 pm.
• Reservations are highly recommended to ensure availability.
• Food service slows down 25 mins before the end of the reservation time. Please be mindful of that if you are unable to attend the start of the brunch.
• While there is no formal dress code, Communion at North Node Sanctuary was created with the essence of dining with your loved ones after Sunday church service. We ask that you wear your Sunday’s Best!
