About the event
Discover the transformative power of somatic yoga with Mel. We’ll begin by softening the breath and setting an intention. Then, we’ll flow into a gentle asana practice. Poses are held for a little longer than a vinyasa flow, allowing you to find & deepen your own practice. Class concludes with the restorative bliss of Yoga Nidra meditation, rejuvenating your mind on a cellular level. You’ll return home feeling renewed & intimately connected to your nervous system.
Please feel free to bring props, such as blocks or a blanket, to heighten accessibility and enhance your experience.
Things to know before you book this class:
- This is a beginner class that is safe for all levels.
- Bring a yoga mat, towel, and water.
- Please be here 10 mins before the start of class, the doors will be locked 10 mins after class begins.
- Missed classes will not be rescheduled or refunded.

Hi I'm Melanie, a 200hr certified yoga teacher, specializing in both gentle and restorative yoga. My classes are deeply nourishing, to create a peaceful and calming practice that is accessible to all levels. The flows are designed to help students relax and de-stress, while also helping build strength, flexibility and balance. I'm passionate about helping others reconnect with their minds and bodies in a safe and nurturing environment. I believe that through the practice of restorative yoga, we can all learn to breathe, move, and live more mindfully.
